Our Trip to Magnolia Silos

Ever since we have been here in Austin Texas I have wanted to go and visit the beautiful Magnolia Silos in Waco. Being that it is only a couple hours drive from here, I figured it would be fun to take my parents with me when they came to visit.

If you are not already familiar with Chips and Joanna Gaines, they are the brains behind the sensation, “Fixer Upper”. The show aired on HGTV for 5 seasons and became known as the go-to home redesign inspiration show.

Magnolia Silos Review

One of the things I loved most about the Magnolia Silos was simply an amazing atmosphere. They have an adorable outdoor food truck courtyard that has some of the most delicious foods you could want. Unfortunately, I didn’t even get a picture of the food before it was all devoured. I will just say… the demo day from the dog house is legit amazing!

After enjoying some time in the food truck courtyard area, we went to browse the store. It was filled with Jojo inspired finds. It even had a section if hand made leather goods that were beautiful.

After wandering around for a while in the store and enjoying all the pretty decor, we went and grabbed a cupcake from the Magnolia Bakery. They were delicious and they looked amazing as well.

Personally, I loved all the quote art for the walls that they had available. It was beautiful and had a total Joanna vibe to it all. You can check out the pictures from our adventure below.

One thing you should know is that parking can be a bit of an issue, so you should go early. Make sure you are prepared to drive around while finding a spot and wear some good walking shoes.
